We recently renovated the cabin, allowing the Catskills to provide inspiration for the materials, colors, and decor. We carried this through the design and updated it with modern amenities while adding to the rustic charm of the original cabin.

Features of the cabin include 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuite full bathrooms, open living spaces with reclaimed heart pine floors, hand-hewn beams, rough sawn panelling, indoor wood-burning fireplace, cozy reading/tv nook, beverage/wine fridge and coffee station, charcoal grill, and a fire-pit overlooking the creek. We are proud to offer complementary electric car charging and aim to continue improving the sustainability of the property.

All bedrooms have comfy beds with high-quality 100% linen and organic cotton bedding. The fully stocked kitchen features a gas stove, Caraway ceramic cookware, and all of the baking and cooking supplies you will need. The two full bathrooms are brand new and stocked with Public Goods products for your use. Note: there is no dishwasher.

Work from the dining table with a view of nature through the oversized picture window or alternatively, choose the private office area for that Zoom call with the team you left behind in the city.

We have put our heart and soul (and blood, sweat, and tears) into creating a beautiful and comfortable home that we want to share for years to come. We truly hope you enjoy your stay and hope that you will be respectful of our home and belongings.

There is limited cell service but high-speed wifi is available for WiFi calling.

This home does not have a dishwasher.

The house is set high off the road to maximize views and the driveway is steep. We plow regularly in the winter, but we do recommend an AWD during the winter season.

Black bears frequent this part of the Catskills - please be mindful when outside and do not leave food outside.

You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.

With “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

- Routinely scheduled maintenance by Home Sweet Hudson team members or lawn care/snow plowing may happen during your stay. This also includes garbage pick up, linen pickup, hot tub service, and pool cleanings.
- Parking shall be allowed solely in the designated parking spaces
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, firepits, etc.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
