1 hr 50 min from NYC.
15 min to Rhinebeck for restaurants, shopping, independent movie theatre, spa, etc.
35 min to Hudson or Woodstock.
6 mins drive to the Omega Institute.
20 mins to Bard College and the Fisher Center

Access

Guest have access to the house, garage, and property.

Transit

A car is necessary. The Rhinecliff Amtrak station is a 15-min drive for additional guests arriving by train. We recommend all-wheel drive cars for the winter season.

Notes

- Guests must climb one flight of stairs to access the main living space.
- The entrance is through the garage and then up one flight.
- We recommend having a 4WD or AWD vehicle with snow tires in the winter months as the driveway can be challenging with the snow and ice.
- Unfortunately, this property has a strict no pet policy due to severe allergies.
- We have efficient mini-split heating and AC units in each room. Each unit has its own remote control.
- The Nest thermostats control the baseboard heating which is never needed as supplementary heat, so please keep them off.

Other Things to Note
- Routinely scheduled maintenance by Home Sweet Hudson team members or lawn care/snow plowing may happen during your stay. This also includes garbage pick up, linen pickup, hot tub service, and pool cleanings.
- Parking shall be allowed solely in the designated parking spaces
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, firepits, etc.
- Due to the risk of fire, please do not charge your electric car on the property.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
- Please do not trespass on property boundaries
- Tents, yurts, and other camping equipment are prohibited
- Please note guests may experience difficulties with cell service while staying at Rhinebeck Chalet. We recommend connecting to the internet during your stay to mitigate communication issues with our team and anyone you wish to contact. Thank you for your understanding!
- You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. We hope you enjoy your vacation with peace of mind knowing that if an accident happens and damages occur, you are protected under Waivo.
